What is the FAP or particle filter?

It is an exhaust gas treatment system that reduces the emission of particles into the atmosphere, particularly the soot produced by combustion in diesel vehicles. The PF (particle filter) can deteriorate if the correct oils are not used. It is also known as a DPF (diesel particle filter) or GPF (gasoline particle filter).
